Co-founded by myself and Louise Delfin, The New Kid Collective is a nonprofit creative collective that does pro-bono work for local nonprofits. The name and identity were founded from the feeling of being a “new kid”, whether that’s stepping foot into a new school or into a new job, it’s a feeling all students can relate to. This idea drove the visual language of the brand; from the choice of textures, colours, and all the graphic applications.

Retea is a small business that sells reusable bubble tea cups, products + accessories, and has created a community of eco-conscious bubble tea lovers. Their identity was derived from the recycling symbol and their belief in sustainability. I served as a creative lead and a photographer, developing the brand identity and creating social content from 2019-2020.

‘Typography is Hard’ is the re-imagination of an old typography textbook.
The book discusses typographic fundamentals from type classifications, page compositions, type contrasts, type treatments, and other basics. Visually the book pays homage to riso printing, an affordable and eco-conscious way for designers to produce and publish their work.

VOICE is a digital tool that makes feedback anonymous, safe, comfortable, democratized, and critical in order to combat the effects of organizational silence for marginalized people. It also looks to realign how we look at feedback and force agencies to reconsider their diversity metrics. Everyone has a voice, we just have to let them use it.

Escape is a Canadian digital music platform dedicated to amplify diverse local artists while encouraging musical exploration and experimentation. The name speaks to the genreless music genre, Escape Room, while the identity speaks to an early internet era when the Canadian media cared about the growth of local artists.
